Hi, I’m Maru!
I am a 26 year old Egyptian-Nicaraguan Illustrator based in the US.
In 2020, I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial Design.
(Yep, I took physics courses ).
I love to provide joy through my illustrations of cute characters and their stories . I want to create a heart-warming fantasy that allows anyone who views my art to feel a sense of comfort and whimsy.
I always try to be inventive and creative with my work by inserting pieces of my background and culture in everything I illustrate.
I also adore puns, maybe a little too much.
